   Sorry, but I watch tv for entertainment. As much as I admire Dick Clark, I   
   am not entertained by him in his present condition. I haven't been   
   entertained by Kirk Douglas, either, since he had his stroke.   
      
   I wasn't entertained by Bette Davis, drunk or sober, when she appeared on   
   Carson following her stroke.   
      
   I wasn't entertained by Groucho Marx when he insisted on appearing in   
   public, even though he was feeble/senile.   
      
   Not only am I not entertained by these people, I cringe at the sight of   
   them trying to entertain me; I am almost sickened at their attempts to   
   entertain me; I almost weep for their sake that they should expose   
   themselves in this way.   
      
   They are all bright, savvy people; they should know that their   
   entertaining days are over; they should know when to get off the stage.
