   There was a sandwich found by her bed, which helped lead the medical   
   examiner to his initial conclusion of asphyxia.  I wasn't there, but   
   he said it was a ham sandwich, and that's good enough for me.   
      
   I ate breakfast with my oldest Jewish friend last year (now a Navy   
   captain and soon, I am sure, to be an admiral).  He had the biggest   
   slab of ham I've seen a human eat in some time.  His wife (also   
   Jewish, almost stereotypically so) had a smaller version of the same.   
   Not every Jew keeps kosher.
