   I can't believe the stupidity of whoever the idiot was who said on   
   Larry King that Anna Nicole was "our Marilyn Monroe". It's a sad   
   comment on our times if that was true. There was so very more to MM   
   than drugs, blonde hair and an early death. Monroe was a genuine movie   
   star who was a true original. So original that wanna-bes such as Anna   
   Nicole are still popping up hoping to be compared to her forty years   
   after MM's death.   
      
   Anna was essentially a hustler who relied on her looks and implants to   
   bring her fame and/or fortune. But she seemed to wait around for the   
   next score hoping for publicity to bring her fans and jobs. Marilyn   
   was smart enough to know that her face and body (and the contacts she   
   made) were only a starting point and she worked hard to get where she   
   did and she kept at it until her death. When MM couldn't make pictures   
   she studied acting despite knowing that many of her students had   
   little respect for her.   
      
   I'm disgusted by those who put them in the same sentence. Styling her   
   hair and makeup like Marilyn Monroe as ANS did in no way makes her fit   
   to be compared to Monroe.
