   He can sing but Chris Daughtry was hands down better.   
   Chris should have won. That said I read somewhere that Chris might not be the

   he is now if he had won.   
   Idol has certain controls over the winner and Chris was able to make his first   
   album   
   free of those.   
   Taylor had more restrictions I understand.   
   So winning Idol is not always the best for the artist.
