The issue used to get       a great deal of attention, but I can't recall more than a couple of       covers from the past 8 years or so. Beyonce guarantees more buzz than       any model could deliver, I understand why they're experimenting.              In terms of regular fashion mags, I think the biggest problem is that       the field is dominated by two groups (the Brazilians and the Eastern       Europeans), and that the members of each group are pretty much all the       exact same type.              Christy, Cindy, Linda, Naomi, Claudia, Helena, Kate etc, none of those       women looked a thing alike, they all had different appeals. Aside from       Gisele, there seem to be very few truly distinctive yet commercially       viable girls around these days.                             ~Angel              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
