   Not lice, coke bugs. Technically known as Psychogenic Parasitosis, a   
   delusion frequently induced by heavy drug use, where the patient is   
   convinced that s/he has bugs crawling over his/her scalp or skin.   
   Sufferers often will go to pretty crazy extremes in an attempt to rid   
   themselves of their imaginary bugs.   
      
   John Phillips of the Mamas and Papas wrote about his experience with   
   the coke bugs delusion in his autobiography.
