ad17dfd7       XPost: alt.religion.druid, alt.politics.homosexuality, alt.gossip.celebrities       XPost: alt.showbiz.gossip, alt.atheism       From: dalton@nfld.com              In recent months I have been hearing a song wth the lyrics       “You're the only reason I came here” on CHMR, Memorial       University Campus and Community Radio and figured it       must be a local or independent artist, since CHMR       doesn’t play those on major labels. So I thought maybe       a google of the lyrics wouldn’t yield results. But last night       I did google that line and it turns out the song is Aftertaste       by Katie Gavin, who recently came to my attention since       she is featured on Sarah McLachlan’s song Reminds Me.              The chorus is              I feel naked       When you look my way       You can see it on my face       You're the only reason I came here       You're the only reason I stayed here       And I'm living       On the aftertaste       Don't you tell me it's too late       You're the only reason I came here       You're the only reason it's so clear to me now              Anyway, the song has special meaning for me.              Google says that Katie Gavin is lesbian, but from my matchmaking       ability and some attraction (and not bridge/friendship attraction)       I intuit that she is bif (woman attracted to both genders) but I       guess is choosing to live a lesbian lifestyle. On the other hand       Sarah McLachlan is bif and choosing to life a straight lifestyle.              Some other bifs who I think are choosing a lesbian lifestyle       are Tanita Tikaram, Jodie Foster, Melissa Etheridge,       and author Tracey Waddleton.              --       https://www.nfld.com/~dalton/dtales.html Salmon on the Thorns (mystic page)       “And the cart is on a wheel; And the wheel is on a hill;       And the hill is shifting sand, And inside these laws we stand" (Ferron)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
