No logic. No facts. Just emotion.              It *annoys* them when someone is driving and, at the same time, doing       something other than driving.              I have an-as-yet-unproved assumption that most of these illogical       proponents of cellphone laws may be prone to be Myers-Briggs strong       "N" and "J" types. This is unproven! I just wonder if most of them       can't handle detail and that they gather data intuitively but not       by sensing. And, that they also order their own lives and expect       others to order their lives the way they do (strong "J" as opposed       to "P" personality).              I have no proof; but I suspect these people, who appear to be       idiots to me, are not actually idiots. They just don't take in       any real data (i.e., they're strong "N" types) who also expect       others to do whatever it is that they do (i.e., they're also       strong "J" types).              Again, I stress, this is simply an untested hypothesis of mine;       but it would explain why they appear to be stupid, because all       very strong xNxJ types generally appear to be stupid when they're       wrong.              NOTE: Weak N and J types would not generally exhibit this       characteristic; so bear in mind that the individuals who appear       to be stupid would have to be very strong N and J types for       this trait to show up as it does here.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
