   But they didn't know that until they TESTED it.   
      
   Common sense always needs a test.   
      
   The test is simple.   
      
   If the common sense assumption that cellphones cause accidents is   
   true, then, given the astoundingly huge number of cellphones in   
   cars in the USA (basically 100%), the accident rate *must* go up.   
      
   That it doesn't, tells us that the common sense here, is a fallacy.   
      
   It's the elephant in the room that common sense can't wish away.
