   Now you're just being silly.

How many people, who haven't taken physics (which is a *lot* of people),
still think that time and space are invariant?

For people who haven't taken physics, they would think that time
doesn't speed up or slow down (or even go backward).

Likewise, they would think that the length of an object doesn't
   shrink or expand with speed.

   That's common sense.
But, when you test many common sense adages, you find they fail.

Hence, I tested the common sense adage that cellphones are dangerous,
and the simple test of accident rates shows that the common sense
   adage fails instantly.

The highly accurate and reliable accident rate numbers compiled for
every state, year over year, absolutely refute the common sense adage
that cellphone ownership (and subsequent use) is any more dangerous
than everything else in a vehicle.

That's the elephant in the room that you hate.
