   C'mon nospam.

You know I test out scores of apps every month.

I was trying to find a text editor that I could use to make my
   shopping list and todo list.

Being highly detail oriented and ADHD (Aspergers?), I often
think of something I need to buy or to do while I'm on the
   road.

If I don't jot it down, I'll forget it.

Most memo apps are too many steps on Android, and most don't
do what I want, which is always KISS simple.

So, I came up with a nice efficient system using ES File Explorer
on Android which puts a symbolic link to a file on the desktop.

I click the file, and up it comes in the text editor of my
choice, where I input the commands by voice, such as "buy
milk" or "remember to pay the property taxes".

Then I click "save" or "quit" (which is set to save) and
I can use the phone for other things.

As an aside, the iPad does a better job of such instant memos,
but, on Android, I was testing out a dozen text editors to see
which were the easiest (fewest steps) to use while driving.
