   been discussing accident rates in the USA.   
      
   I never once discussed fatality rates.   
   We're only talking accidents.   
      
   Specifically, since the number of accidents per year are a factor   
   of the number of miles driven per year, we're only talking about   
   accident rates.   
      
   Accidents beget the injuries and fatalities, so injuries are a second   
   order problem. If people can't even understand accident rates, there   
   is zero chance they'll understand fatality and injury rates.   
      
   Nobody can refute the USA accident rate data since it's reliable   
   data compiled without agenda that has been compiled accurately before,   
   during and after the meteoric rise in cellphone ownership in the USA.
