   Wrong again.

   More fool you.

   > I don't actually think you're stupid,

I know I'm not stupid at all.

   > but you think in such stupid ways

This is from that fool that can't even manage to
work out that cellphone ownership is completely
irrelevant and that the only thing that matters
is how many use their phones while driving.

   > that I think most people are just plain
   > stupid because they think like you do.

   More fool you.

   > If "I" were going to say that driving with one eye

   > to find those accidents in the accident reports.

More fool you when its obvious that distance perception
is much worse like that, and that it is completely impossible
to work out who was driving with one eye closed after an
accident except with those who have an eyepatch etc.

   > If I knew that some people drove with one eye closed,

More fool you when it is completely impossible to
work out who was driving with one eye closed after an
accident except with those who have an eyepatch etc.

   > If I found no such increase in accident rate, then, I'd
   > immediately stop assuming that people who drove
   > with one eye closed contributed at all to the accident rate
   > any more than people who drove with both eyes open.

More fool you when there are FAR more
common factors in what causes accidents.

   > That you think otherwise,

You have absolutely NO idea what I think about that.

   > is the funny thing here.

   Wrong, as always.

   > There's zero evidence that the overall accident
   > rate has any effect due to cellphones.

Don’t need evidence with something as basic as that.

Anyone who has ever used a cellphone while driving
who isn't completely brain dead would have noticed
that they don’t drive as well as they do when they
aren't using a cellphone while driving, particularly
with the unexpected events outside the car that
   happen periodically.

   > This doesn't need to be proved since
   > it's in the figures in and of themselves.

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

   > There is no effect whatsoever.

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

   > You still think the onus is on me to
   > prove the *absense* of accidents,

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

   > even when the cellphone proponents assume
   > that the accident rate is skyrocketing?

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

They KNOW that using a cellphone when driving is
more risky than not using the cellphone while driving.

   > That's what's so amazing to me.
   > a. Those who make extraordinary claims,

Nothing extraordinary about the FACT that using a
cellphone while driving is more risky than not using
   a cellphone while driving.

   > you feel they have no need to back up that claim.

No need to back up the even less extraordinary FACT
that driving with your eyes closed for the entire time is
MUCH more dangerous than driving with your eyes open.

   > b. I make the most obvious and basic claim,

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

   > which is *inherently* backed up by the data

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

There is NO data on how many use a cellphone while driving.

   > since my claim comes *from* the data.

Another bare faced pig ignorant lie.

   > Sometimes I think the entire world is just stupid,

Yes, you actually are that brain dead.

   > but there were a few on this thread who showed
   > some sense, so, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

There is no tunnel, no elephant and no room either.
