   I think that, by-and-large, these are not what most of us would call   
   "Nice" people.    Both sides....   
      
   This is dog-eat-dog politics and they cannot afford to be.   
      
   That being the case, I cut them all a massive amount of slack in that   
   respect.   They're politicians, after all...   
      
   By all accounts, Richard Nixon was a miserable human being.   Yet   
   credible historians are starting to say he was an able and effective   
   president.   (at least until he got caught.... -)
