   This is a *discussion* group.   
   This thread posits a *discussion* which is a question of fact.   
   If you don't like the *discussion*, nobody forced you to enter the fray.   
   But, if you *do* enter the discussion, you should probably make some sense.   
      
   The original question was whether our SSIDs are being sent to Google.   
   The answer is yes (very much so).   
      
   The logical question arose as to how to prevent that, and how to   
   see what was already in the Google public database.   
      
   We're still working on those answers.   
   If you have valuable input, as Andy Burns did, please let us know   
   as there are still unanswered questions that might benefit all.
