   I think the original recommendation was to use the same SSID and   
   MAC address on all wireless _routers._ This is certainly different   
   than what you just explained and would/could cause a client to   
   try to jump from one access point to another only to be   
   disconnected because of the different (hopefully) wireless   
   passwords.
