XPost: misc.phone.mobile.iphone, comp.mobile.android       From: horatio@horatio.net              On 20 Sep 2016 13:10:03 -0500, Elfin wrote:              > As with most of the bullshit you post, there are plenty of errors        based on a summary of your links and actual checking on the respective       carriers websites       >       > Verizon, family of 4:       > 4 phone access @$20/ea = $80       > 4Gb Data shared = $50       > 8Gb+2GB/phone on account = $70       >       > So for $80 access and $70 data, total $150, the family of four could       share in 16Gb of data, about $50 less than you 'superior' cut 'n paste job.       Pretty similar to T-Mobile's new plan for a family of four.       >       > Now if that family of four decided to add a tablet, on Verizon that is       $10/tablet, on T-Mobile that is $20/Tablet.       ===========================================================================       Thanks for the additional input, as I only know t-mobile well, and T-Mobile       doesn't do the *shared* data thing (which would be very useful when adults       and teens are involved - where the teens can suck up all the data).              We all appreciate your purposefully helpful Verizon corrections, just as       you can appreciate my connection with T-Mobile for their *best* deals.              In fact, if only 3 or 4 other helpful people post (one from each of the       other carriers), we'd have an excellent summary for *everyone* to benefit       from.              But, if the entire thread is from the likes of nospam and Rod Speed, each       of whom must be commended on the consistency of their repeatable selfish       unhelpfulness, then *nobody* will benefit from this thread.              Adding your Verizon data to the original research, and re-ordering by price       (best to worst), here is the first correction, for the benefit of all, as       always:              1. Google Fi ($120/month, some of which is refunded if data is unused)       2. Verizon ($130/month)       3. T-Mobile ($140/month)       4. Sprint ($180/month)       5. AT&T ($220/month)              * Google Fi *       $20/month for each phone line       $10/month for each phone line for each 1GB data (refunded if unused)       (special phones required)              * Verizon *       $130/month ($80/month for 4 phones at $20/month/phone + $50 for 4Gb of       *shared* data)       Or, 8Gb+2GB/phone on account = $70, so for $150, the family of four could       share in 16Gb of data              * T-Mobile *       $140 a month unlimited data & access point for a family of 4 (with autopay)       Details here (and in my other posts in this thread):       http://i.cubeupload.com/mblBtd.jpg              * Sprint *       The Sprint Unlimited Freedom plan is $60/month for a single line of       unlimited unlimited voice, text and LTE data. A second line will be $40.              * AT&T *       $55/month unlimited talk, text and 2GB data for each line              If you know of a *better* post-paid unlimited USA talk/text plan (with some       data) for a family of 4, please advise so that everyone benefits from your       effort.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
