   To most Apple users price/performance is Greek. If their phones do what   
   they want, they're happy. And IMO they will stick with what they're   
   comfortable using over buying something strange at about the same price.   
   I doubt Apple has much to worry about from the Pixel.

   But Android users who likewise might not want to change to a new system   
   but want to step up a bit, may go for the Pixel. IMO Samsung may be the   
   bigger loser in this race, especially with the recent troubles.

   Perhaps. Apple almost went broke once before. One never knows what the   
   market will do. Think Palm Pilot and BlackBerry...
