   The fact is that specs matter.   
      
   Despite Lewis' assertion to the contrary ... if the car doesn't meet   
   cursory inspection of the F1 specs before the race, it doesn't race, and if   
   the winning car doesn't meet closer inspection of the F1 specs after the   
   race, it didn't win.   
      
   Specs aren't everything, but you *start* with base specs, and only get to   
   price later on in the comparison.   
      
   That's why this thread starts with the bare-bones specs.   
      
   Now, nospam says that the iPhone 7 is a better performer on speed than the   
   Pixel, but that wasn't in the specs, and nospam says that the LTE bands   
   aren't the same, so, if that's true (he hasn't proved anything and he's   
   very often dead wrong so we don't know if it's true or not), then that's a   
   deeper look beyond the bare-bones specs.   
      
   1. First you start with base specs   
   2. Then you look at price   
   3. If necessary, you look deeper into both the price and the specs
