   Given a single-SIM phone with an existing service ...   
      
   Does a free second phone number app exist (like Sideline used to be?)   
      
   One that can do the three things you'd want:   
   a. Make and receive phone calls to and from pots or mobile   
   b. texts to and from mobile   
      
   I used to use Sideline, which worked fine, but then I factory wiped my   
   phone, re-installed Sideline, and found that I was only grandfathered, such   
   that it's no longer free.   
      
   Apparently Sideline is no longer free (I was only grandfathered as free).   
      
   Does a free second phone number app exist (like Sideline used to be?)
