   It is "so easy", as I have shown (and you purposely trimmed out above).   
   Ant wanted to transfer photos from iOS to a Mac - nothing more. And that   
   is brain-dead easy: open Photos / Image Capture ad click Import - DONE.   
   You desperately added more conditions trying to claim the transfer must   
   be both ways to and from any OS, etc afterwards to try to change the   
   topic, which is why you've trimmed the quoting above to omit the   
   brain-dead-simple steps required to accomplish what Ant asked about.
