   While there are many solutions on Android, one, I just tested,   
   is to mount the Android external sdcard as a drive in Windows.   
       
      
   Once the mobile device is mounted, you can run anything   
   you want on it to obtain an editable file of the inventory   
   of all installed apps and their sub versions.   
      
   This can also be done on the Android device, all by its itty   
   bitty self; so this is just an example of doing it from   
   Windows (somewhat like how iTunes works with iOS devices).
