   Meanwhile, the news today is that Apple has delayed the promised update.   
      
   *Apple said the fix will belatedly come out _next_ week (not this week).*   
   o Here¢s the full statement 9to5Mac received from Apple:   
      
   "We have fixed the Group FaceTime security bug on Apple's servers and we   
   will issue a software update to re-enable the feature for users next week.   
   We thank the Thompson family for reporting the bug. We sincerely apologize   
   to our customers who were affected and all who were concerned about this   
   security issue. "   
      
   The funny thing is that Apple only cares when their IMAGE is at stake.   
   o The proof is in the taste of the pudding   
      
   1. The bug existed   
   2. Apple didn't give a shit until it went viral   
   3. Apple clearly didn't sufficiently test this release   
      
   and worse....   
      
   This is just about the umpteenth time the exact type of bug isn't found.   
   o This bug was so simple to test for that a child could find it (and did).   
      
   If _that_ doesn't make you feel scared about using Apple products...   
   o Nothing else will   
      
   And yet, the customer just wants to +_feel_ safe   
   o Not actually _be_ safe   
      
   Hence, these bugs (which abound) will go on, and on, and on, and on.   
   o Want me to cite the facts again for that factual adult observation?
