Though the bundle price is cheaper than the three       services (TV, Internet, and phone) standard prices added, it       is not cheaper than any two of the services standard prices       added. So I will save some money by cancelling the phone       even though the other two will go up in price.              Cox's price is fluid. Every year I call and threaten to quit       and (so far) I have gotten a $30 to $50 discount off the       listed bundle price for another year. I suppose it is like       buying a new car. Only fools pay the listed price. I do have       competition here (CenturyLink twisted pair + satellite) so       my threat is real. But CenturyLinks's DSL is very sloooow so it       is mostly just a threat...              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
