   Can anyone suggest an economical method of receiving SMS text messages to a   
   real USA cell phone number while abroad? I use an H2O service while in the   
   USA and they don't offer roaming. I am able to receive texts from friends   
   and many others by using Google Voice and a CallCentric account but some   
   senders (such as the IRS) are very fussy about what phones they will send   
   texts to and they balk at VOIP and similar destinations. Is there any cell   
   service provider with a low maintenance cost service that I could use for   
   such events that are both very rare but are also rather important to me?
