   [DEMOCRATS] already put your freedom and life up as collateral if   
   someone is harmed... you can be jailed or executed depending on how you   
   abuse other persons right to life and liberty resulting from your own   
   actions with a gun or without a gun... the gun isn't the problem.  The   
   problem is that people committing crimes are allowed to repeat their crimes.   
      
   Violent crimes deserve to be treated as such.  The problem is the   
   Democrats who want to ignore violent crimes and give a pass to the   
   violent criminals want to tax and limit and force to buy insurance.   
      
   People stealing or painting art on buildings or speeding or having a   
   blinker that's broken don't need the time in prison, violent criminals   
   do. Guns aren't violent, people are violent.  We don't put guns in   
   prison for their criminal acts do we?

   Better than Liability insurance is to pass a *Violent Felony* *three   
   strikes law* that's a little different type of law...  first time   
   Violent offenders get the basic legal sentence, on their second Violent   
   Felony the law mandates that the person get two time the sentence, and   
   the third or more violent felony crimes is a mandatory three times the   
   normal sentence.   
      
   Conceivably... depending on the violent crime the first or second   
   Violent Felony could have longer sentences than the third. It's   
   basically a we hate "CRIME" law rather than a "HATE CRIME" law, that   
   will then treat all VIOLENT CRIMES after the first as CRIMES we hate, by   
   modifying the sentencing without any new trials or all the political   
   posturing.
