   In the United States the government is there to protect me from threats   
   as in *SHALL PROVIDE* like provide and maintain a Navy and to make   
   possible other things as in *PROMOTE* promote the Progress of Science   
   and useful Arts...   
      
      
   There is a difference between SHALL PROVIDE and having a power to   
   promote something.   
      
   And the Government is NOT there to mandate what I eat or drink and one   
   example is alcohol and the 18th Amendment that allowed government ban   
   alcohol for consumption, NO such amendment exists to allow a ban on   
   eating meat. Which means banning that RIGHT to eat meat by using a FAKE   
   GLOBAL WARMING excuse is unconstitutional.   
      
   Amendment XVIII   
   Section 1. After one year from the ratification of this article the   
   manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the   
   importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United   
   States and all territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for   
   beverage purposes is hereby prohibited.   
      
   Section 2. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent   
   power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.   
      
      
   NOTICE the added part to allow CONCURRENT POWER because in most cases   
   the U.S. Constitution can and does either delegate the power to the   
   United States or denies it to the States but seldom creates a dual   
   jurisdiction which points out the FACT that powers NOT delegated to THE   
   United States and powers denied to THE States are THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE.   
      
   Just as the 2nd Amendment says that the RIGHT of the people to keep and   
   bear arms can't be infringed, neither can the right to eat meat, at   
   least until there is an Amendment in the Constitution to delegate that   
   power to the United States or the States have the Constitutional power   
   in their own State Constitutions to ban meat.
