XPost: alt.privacy, alt.privacy.anon-server       From: sumbuddy@yahoo.com              I belong to a social media site that appeared to be "down" for several       days. I kept getting the "this page has been cached and is no longer       available". This is even when I make no attempt to enter ID or PW, the       entire page is inaccessible except for a few posts a few days old. IOW       you cannot even bring up the login page. I tried to bring up the login       page from several different browsers and from several different vpns and       tor and got the same result. It tried loading the login page from a       different computer, different home IP but same company. I tried from       virtual box, same result, either that error or cannot load the page. I       tried logging in after changing computer and network name, same result.       I tried from two diffent OS's windows and linux. Is there some way a       site can block you in all of these cases without you're knowing it? Now       the site is back up and I can log in, but there are NO POSTS regarding       downtime or others having trouble logging in? What gives?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
