   ONLY after he was found to have them and then he had to hide them out of   
   the grasp of the FBI and DOJ and to have them destroyed or at least hide

   And Obama did eventually put them in the Obama LIBRARY archives....   
   where no one can get to them for 30 years...  I remember the big stink   
   that he was running away with files....  but he was hounded until he   
   found a legal loophole to use to hide them (at least on paper as if they   
   still exist) but are they really there, no one will know until they're   
   opened to be made public or destroyed at a much much later date...   
   They'll be announced as missing one day soon.  Probably when the Coup is   
   complete.   
      
      
   As I said in other posts, the President can de-classify anything right   
   up until 12:00 PM on January 20th when we inaugurate the new President   
   and that delegated power is transferred....  what they can't do is   
   destroy the originals, if they need a copy they ca sure take one with   
   them and the copy being taken makes it PUBLIC and declassified by the   
   Presidents actions.  They can't steal it or destroy the original, simply   
   because it's GOVERNMENT PROPERTY and evidence of what our government is   
   involved in. The Clinton's stole China from the White House Estate... it   
   was returned.  NO charges were filed. I'm NOT sure why UN-CLASSIFIED   
   paperwork copies are so much more important than the $50,000 set of   
   dinner china?  Copies are NOT the property of the government and we the   
   people actually own the information so noting was stolen from the   
   Executive Branch, because they were PUBLIC DOCUMENTS. TRUMP made them   
   PUBLIC documents while still acting as President. Whether the Archives   
   registered it or not is the archives problem, TRUMP was the Executive   
   Branch so he can't be guilty of taking a classified document when it's   
   his Delegated power and MANDATED JOB to classify and de-classify and to   
   protect the Executive Branch and Nation from invasion and attack both   
   from outside and from within.   
      
   They can take those copies that are declassified and release them to the   
   PUBLIC *which is a deterrent to corruption* .  Because no Presidents   
   actions are permanently classified, because the next President can   
   release those documents from being classified by simply getting them   
   from the archives and making them public. The President needs NO   
   permission to do their Constitutional duty.
