Control the guilty, NOT the rest of us...

If you release those people with a propensity to commit crimes then
target them with restrictions NOT the rest of us... Don't try to limit
our RIGHT to make up for releasing criminals. Limit the Criminals while
serving their time outside the jail. With places and things they can't
do rather than trying to limit all of society from those things because
it's easier or cheaper than targeting the criminals. An yet violent
crimes take priority in prisons and 90% of people in prison need to be
there for a violent acts, not IRS and other government process crimes
like paper work for a gun they already have the RIGHT to keep and bear
with out any Government permission slip... go after the criminals that
commits a violent crime, but that costs more than blaming the whole
society and making everyone suffer a little loss of freedom so that no
one pays the real cost with their own actual loss of freedom.

Government's like to do that because it gives the government bureaucrats
more power. And you less, and little by little your freedom starts to
look like it does for the people in the prisons, and when it's hard to
tell the difference... it's to late, you have no political power to
change it you're an inmate of your own institutional Society.
