   It's not Trump doing such an event. It's so many reporters not   
   reporting it as what it was, a staged event. All politicians engage in   
   such events and reporters should report it as such an event.

   It's not the same sort of stunt from what you've posted. Shriver may   
   have picked the questions but there's nothing in what you posted that   
   suggested that Harris knew the questions ahead of time. So Shriver was   
   still going to be asking the questions to Harris in the town hall   
   format much like if Shriver were doing a standard sit down interview.   
   I guess the town hall format is to make it feel a bit more relaxed.

   Is it Harris doing the setup or Shriver and her people. Seems more   
   likely it was Shriver's people doing that setup for their own reasons.
