   elastic) that varies in consistency, ranging from watery to thick,   
   depending on hormonal factors, sexual arousal, and the menstrual cycle.   
   It typically has a lower viscosity than commercial lubricants, allowing   
   it to easily facilitate sperm movement. Commercial vaginal lubricants   
   are formulated with thickeners like CARBOMER or HPMC to match a gel-like   
   consistency (often 1.5–2.0 poises).
