   It's noticeable. Consider heavy Utah snow versus Colorado snow. Utah is   
   the land of powder even if Colorado is the land of professional skiing.   
   The snow just doesn't pack there. Is it because it's high in the   
   mountain and doesn't fall enough to compress the snow? Is it because the   
   Rockies are made out of sugar loaf among the Utes?
