   Sorry Kevin, but that's utter tosh. You'd have to keep a child in a sealed   
   plastic bubble for them not to come in to contact with other people outside   
   the home, Home Educated or not. My children come in to contact with many   
   people daily, are you saying that they don't learn from the experience, and   
   the experiences, of these people? If not, why not? Why do students in school   
   learn from combined experiences but Home Educated children don't? That   
   wouldn't make any sense, you're implying that they're a different species.   
   Home Educated children are out in the world, learning from natural occurring   
   situations, and from orchestrated ones too.   
   We're not all shut-ins you know, sat at the kitchen table beavering away at   
   workbooks alone. You're stereotyping ;o)
