From: ametrine@ameritech.net              I know this is kind of a late reply, but I'm just catching up with the       newsgroup now :) I've had Verizon service since they were Ameritech, and       have always been pleased with it. Over time, some of the other carriers       have offered slightly cheaper rates, but that's no good to me if the       service doesn't work! Right now, prices are pretty much the same as the       others. Service in our area (Chicago) is great compared to anything else       around here.              One of the things I like best about Verizon is that you can switch your       service plan at any time, if your calling needs change, with no       restrictions or penalty for changing your contract. Also, they have the       "new every 2" option which enables you to get a new phone every two       years if you're a continuing customer, so you can get those new "cool       phones" as technology improves without spending extra.              Pat              Mindy wrote:       >       > Hey, anybody here use Verizon Wireless for their cell phone service?
