   They really aren't lady bugs.  They're brownish-orange beetles, but they   
   look like large lady bugs with the spots.  They fly and they pinch.  And   
   if you squash them, the POP and leave a brownish fluid that is toxic ...   
   and stains fabric.  They are like a plague in the Chicago area,   
   especially during mild days in autumn.  I've heard that they came over   
   from China and I wish they would go back!  The best thing to do if they   
   get in your house is suck them up with a vacuum cleaner.  Use those   
   attachments!
