   But they are really great toys for infants and toddlers. I didn't   
   realize until a few weeks ago that the Pluffies are actually the   
   replacement line for Baby Ty.  I hadn't looked closely at them until I   
   was shopping for a "first birthday" gift and one of the Hallmark staff   
   at the place I regularly shop suggested this. Yes... they *are*   
   completely machine washable, and infant-safe since they have no pull-off   
   parts.   
      
   Worked out well, Puppers ended up to be the toy that was instantly   
   grabbed amongst all the goodies at the party, and he's been cuddled   
   regularly and washed since then!
