Our tree is up too. It was just a fiasco waiting to happen though.

I decided that i was going to really be in the holiday spirit this year (A
rarity in past years for me)

   And I do nothing small.

So, I decided to go buy a new artificial tree (Jarrod has allergies, and I
   like artificial better anyway)

So I measured our ceiling and decided that since it was 8 ft, I could get a
7 1/2 ft tree. I had always noticed that the artificial trees were never the
   height they say they are.

This one was, and I got a 7 1/2 foot tree. Plus I spent almost $200 on
decorations lol. I themed the tree this year and went all silver and purple.
With the only exception being Alegra's first pair of shoes which are denim,
pink & purple. I am going to hit all of the after Xmas sales to get whatever
color we choose to theme the tree next year so I can save some (Thinking
Gold & Red But we might do something hard to find like yellow or plaid...
just so we have something to have fun shopping for and collecting all year)

Then I overdid Christmas gifts for the girls, as well as a friend from
Sweden's kids. Those kids in Sweden are gonna be the most popular kids
around! Its very hard for them to find Dora The Explorer stuff and Bob the
Builder stuff... all of which we have in abundance here. Plus they are both
   very popular cartoons there.

Needless to say, I have more shopping to do on the 19th, but last minute
shopping is kinda fun for me :-D

   LES!
