   When mine does that it's because the first program selection button   
   is stuck in the down position.   
   I can get it unstuck by pushing another program selection button and   
   pulling up on the one that's stuck.   
   It doesn't annoy me enough to bother cleaning it yet.   
   Maybe yours has the same problem.
