Sheesh, half the fun of putting       a coin in late '40s, '50s and some '60s era boxes was watching that       happen right in front of you because your phono at home didn't do that.       IOW it's the experience of operating the appliance and not just       listening to a record.              IMHO it's those boxes from the pre-1970s era that demand the higher       prices (is a mint condition Wurlitzer 1015 bubbler still the most       desirable?)
