From: zarco@sonic.net              Hi Guys,       Hate to admit it but I'm stuck (sic) and could use some advice.       My 1650 selects a record normally, plays it but when the       record is over the spindle only drops maybe 2/3 of the       way down. When the record tray tries to retract it jams       because the spindle is in the way.              The spindle shaft (very long) moves freely and is not sticking.       The arm that pushes the spindle shaft up/down is not going       down all the way. I can force it down all the way but I'll       be fighting spring tension to do so. This just isn't right.              I have verified that all springs are in place and not broken. The       cam follower appears to be riding in the correct track, but this       is almost impossible to see. The cam goes through its full       cycle if I remove the jam. Doesn't seem to be any sort of adjustment       for this.              Any suggestions???? TIA        Steve              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
