If lolis are to be banned I believe anything containing rape or murder should
also be banned. If everyone is to be so easily offended, then every
controversial topic should be banned. Just because us lolicons like 2D doesn't
mean we like 3D. I personally
HATE 3D kids. Everyone needs to remember THIS IS ART. It's not real. It's
   fake. Stop getting so offended.

I think having a range of j-pop outfits would have been really fun, but aside
from the gothic lolita outfit, none of them scream "Eastern" to me at all.
They're just standard sci fi outfits that could be used anywhere (which is
   fine too.)

To be clear, lolicon (loli) pornography is LEGAL in the United States unless
proven to be obscene in a court of law or depicts an actual minor. This is
also the case with adult pornography.
Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition (2002), reaffirmed in US v. Williams (2008),
held that purely virtual/fictional child pornography was on the same level of
   legality as normal adult pornography.

A lot of sites have purged lolicon content as of late, likely due to legal
liability and search engines have been very aggressively delisting content.
Toddlercon and 3DCG seem to be particularly feared, perhaps because they could
   be considered more
obscene in the eyes of a judge and the other likely to be mistaken for the
real thing at a quick glance.

Loli is common in Japan. However, many people and groups are opposed to loli
because of the sexual conduct involving underage characters. Questions
regarding the legality of lolicon and the need to regulate the material have
   increased in recent years.

Because lolicon depicts an identifiable minor engaged in sexually explicit
situations, loli violates federal law in the United States. You can be
arrested and charged with a crime if you possess lolicon in any form.

Other countries have also enacted laws making lolicon and shotacon illegal.
They criminalize loli as pedophilia, child pornography, or other illegal
material. However, loli continues to be legal in some countries.

International laws governing lolicon vary. Loli is not illegal in Germany
because it does not depict real people. However, under the obscenity laws in
the United Kingdom, viewing pornographic images of minors, including anime, is
   illegal.

Under California Penal Code 311.3, child pornography includes material that
depicts children and minors simulating or engaging in sexual conduct. However,
the law does not explicitly mention loli or materials similar to loli.
