|    Rockola Bubbler: yellow vs orange compon    |
|    27 Sep 12 09:31:10    |
I'm on the hunt for a Rockola 100 cd Bubbler and I am trying to figure some       things out. It appears to me that bubblers of the last 12 years or so come       with orange components and more recently yellow components. It seems a major       difference is the amp        output of 300 watts vs 900 watts. Is there a major difference in the sound of       the orange vs yellow setups? I'll be using mine (when I find one) in a home       setting so it won't be cranked up too loud or too often so subtle differences       won't matter too much        to me. Is it possible to run orange and yellow components together? Could I       put a yellow computer in with an orange amp ...Or a yellow amp with an orange       computer? Just thinking if I was to find a cheaper bubbler with orange guts       is it possible to        upgrade to yellow components later? I did a search on the news group but not       much of anything comes up. Also, the ipod dock seems to only work with the       yellow components or newer and this is a feature that has helped me sell the       idea of "needing        another jukebox" to my wife. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.              Thanks, Nate              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
