Only problem is the current owner does not have the keys to open it       up. I need to get in to bolt down the CD mech as I want to lay it down for       the ride home. Obviously I        can drill the lock but isn't there a spring latch of some sort in there that       requires turning the key to release the door? Anyone have a good close up       pick of the lock area? I would appreciate any thoughts or advice. Thanks in       advance,       >        > nate              Just did one of these in the shop. Lock had already been drilled and latch       assy had fallen loose inside the box. Was able to go through the back. There       is a hole in the back covered with a piece of cardboard for cables to pass       through. With a long, flat        metal bar, I was able to go through this hole and snag and lift the door latch       mechanism and open the door.               Flats              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
