For anyone following along, or for anyone searching in the future, I have an   
   update.  Through some very nice people who emailed me I was able to rule out   
   some things and find the culprit to the problem.  After trying all the things   
   in my first post and    
   coming to think the pre amp board was the problem  I was told to try hooking   
   up another powered amp and speakers to the variable RCA ouputs on the amp.  If   
   both channels played through the second amp and speakers(and they did) then   
   the pre amp board was    
   more than likely good.  The next thing to test was the two power amp boards.    
   Basically one power amp board does the left channels and the other does the   
   right channels.  So if you flip flop boards and the sound problem goes to the   
   other channel then you    
   have a problem with that power amp board.  Well, I did this and I got no   
   change!  Still no left midrange sound.  At this point I started triple   
   checking wire harnesses and connectors and everything still looked good.  At   
   this point I was getting really    
   frustrated and I then started flicking components on the crossover board   
   thinking maybe there is a cold solder joint or something.  I flicked a cap   
   that is on the problem left interior mid line and all of a sudden sound!  I   
   hit it again and it went out.     
   One more time and back on it went.  So there it is, a got a crossover board   
   issue.  Thanks to all that helped!
