   Check all your wiring,specially the rca plugs on the cd player.Check the jacks   
   themselves on the player unit.I would remove the two screws and make sure the   
   wiring is connected.I found one that wasn't once!   
   Make sure your amp is actually working.Make sure the voltage is there.Could be   
   a power supply problem.   
   Make sure your cd player is connected properly   
   Double check your volume control wiring.   
    Check your manuel for diagnostics
