Thanks so much Jeff for the offer..but i looked closely at my problem on   
   Sunday after getting a good night sleep and my first thought was to look at   
   the 2050 tube since i did change it out a couple of months ago and the VL did   
   actually play 10 records    
   fine after i had the sit and spin problem on late Sat night.   
      
   Well sure enough...i found it to be the 2050 tube and socket.   
      
   After inserting the tube in and out of the 2050 socket a few times to get a   
   solid connection the VL worked flawless all day yesterday after many   
   selections.   
      
   I will keep a close watch out to see if the problem comes about again.Hopefull   
   not.
