   FYI: Struts are available thru auto parts stores Strong Arm lift D4248 is   
   what I got. Rated for 65lbs each, ~$25 each. Works well. There are other   
   brands. I think my 7000 still had the original struts when I got it. Turns   
   out they were Stabilus (Mighty Lift) FPN11A 0280N. Stabilus translated this   
   for me. FPN11A is an old part #. It is now 1604EW, The 0280N is the force in   
   Newtons 280N is 63lbf. Rockola part # 57142. Jordan Amusement had stock at   
   one time   
      
   essentially need ~11.75 inches compressed length. If too long when   
   compressed the door won't close.   
   Extended length ~19.5-20inches.   
   lifting force ~65 lbs. If you get stronger ones it may be too hard to close   
   and possibly damage the door   
      
   For the color cylinder check with Victory Glass,   
   http://www.victoryglass.com/victoryframe.asp. This is the complete cylinder   
   with the end caps (the toothed wheels that the colored plastic wraps   
   around).They don't seem to offer the caps or color sheet as a separate   
   items.
