If you are a buyer it's been an enormous help. You can get on EBAy       anytime and find supposedly rare records. It has driven down prices       tremendously. However, real rare records are still rare and people       are still ready to pay top dollars for those.              Check out www.gemm.com for the DOORS. You will find a seller has more       than one Doors album which will save you on shipping. I imagine there       rare Doors records though but for the basic stuff, if you are not       interested in first printings, etc. you should be able to pick them up       pretty cheap.              If you live in anywhere near a big city or even a college town you should       be able to pick up that stuff locally.              Later,              Zuke                     On Thu, 4 Dec 2003, cjlcollect wrote:              > Hello,       > Anyone think that the online auction industry has hurt the record       > collecting public?
