|    Unwanted LP recycling?    |
|    06 Jan 04 20:33:37    |
From: Voicer@cogeco.ca              I have about 200 classical music LPs (1970s-1980s) that I no longer want.       Neither it seems does anyone else. I can't give them away. I hate to see       them go into the Toronto garbage system, which is trucked to dumps in       Michigan.              My building has recycling bins for cardboard and for plastic and glass       bottles, juice and milk containers, etc.              So the record jackets and the boxes from boxed sets of Readers Digest Great       Composers, etc., will go in the cardboard bin.              My question is : Is vinyl recyclable? Should I put it the discs in the bin       for glass and plastic?              Many thanks for advice.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
